A basic room with wash room down the hallway. Our host was very pleasant couldn’t do enough to help. Restaurants and shops very close by.

Not a very central location but I chose this for a different reason. But there’s still a bus stop just down the road where you can get to the centre of Colombo very easy and very cheap.

Located in a calm and quiet area. The owner is a nice lady who attends to the guests' needs and keeps the place clean. I had a shared bathroom with hot water but never had to wait in line. It was cleaned multiple times throughout the day. I was there during some of the hottest days in Colombo, so the room was hot even with the ceiling fan but there is a mini fridge in the room where I kept beverages to help with the heat. There are two round pin sockets on the wall near the foot end of the bed and she provided me with a universal adapter to use as well. I used a vaporizer to repel the few mosquitos that came at night. The owner said that she is also having mosquito repellents if I needed any. If you encounter any issues just inform the owner. She is very helpful and will take care of problems.
