The Secret Guesthouse

We had a wonderful stay at The Secret Guesthouse in Mirissa. The place is very clean, comfortable, and surrounded by lush greenery, which makes it feel peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are well maintained and exactly as described. The hosts are extremely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed — from local tips to organizing transport. The location is great: quiet and private, yet close enough to the beach, restaurants, and shops. If you’re looking for a calm and cozy place with a warm, personal touch, this guesthouse is a perfect choice. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

A tranquil haven in the hustle and bustle of Mirissa. The staff were incredibly warm and hospitable. Our cabin room was stunning and the pool was a great place to relax. Delicious breakfast and easy access to most of Mirissa’s beaches. Also highly recommend their tuk tuk driver who helped us around town.

Not a problem, but missed the suggestion that in high season I needed to book the spa well ahead.

Un posto speciale immerso nella natura ma allo stesso tempo a 10 minuti a piedi dalle spiagge e a 5 dalla via principale, piena di ristoranti e bar. La vista dal nostro balcone, oltre al bellissimo verde includeva anche un bellissimo pavone.

Gorgeous facilities and amazing staff who went above and beyond!

Such a beautiful stay at The Secret Guesthouse, the staff are so attentive and helped us with so many things - they went above and beyond. Pictures don’t do it justice - so much wildlife as well monkeys chipmunks & peacocks! Perfect distance from the busy Mirissa Road.

We absolutely loved our four night stay at Secret Guesthouse. Our first stay after arriving in Sri Lanka and we cannot recommend this beautiful place enough. Our upstairs room was spacious, clean and lovely. Private deck overlooking a farm and surrounded by jungle with the sounds of peacocks, monkeys and squirrels creating a real jungle atmosphere which we loved!! Staff were friendly and attentive but never intrusive. The gorgeous pool was an absolute highlight. So many amazing memories from this stay. Thank you so much for everything Michael and Sarah 🧡

- sauber und wunderschöne Anlage - großer und sauberer Pool - super freundliches Personal - tolles Frühstück - super Lage: ruhig , aber doch zentral

- es war leider hellhörig - der Klodeckel fiel uns dauernd entgegen (ist in Sri Lanka aber bereits in einigen Unterkünften so gewesen)

Loved everything about this stay, the accommodation, the attention to detail of the staff of without fault. It is close to all the bars and the beach and their recommended Tuktuk driver gave us a great day out to Galle. Would also highly recommend the spa
