Cathedral Coach House - Lichfield

Beautifully decorated and the location was perfect to meet friends in town. Bed was really comfortable and the lockbox for the key was easy to use, instructions and information from host was spot on too. It was clean and tidy on first appearances and very spacious unfortunately on closer inspection i realised I probably should of gone to the Premier Inn up the road which was half the price!

There was a little greeting bag made up of a chocolate that looked like it had been there a year, an out of date milk sachet (a couple more out of date ones in fridge too) and a caramel coffee, tea bag and a couple of sugars with 1 biscof biscuit, I didn't even open the bag, just left it, its a nice gesture but make sure things are in date! It wasn't as clean as I first thought, there was a couple of layers of dust on all the ornaments and on all the picture frames and down the side of the bedside tables could do with being shown a hoover! Overall it was ok for 1 night but expensive considering the cleanliness and lack of thoughtfuness with the complimentary bag! Its the little things that count and with the price paid i expected more!

Perfect location: close to the centre of Lichfield & family. A home from home. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again in the future.

Stairs up to property should be mentioned, overpriced at £207 per night for 2 people but sleeps up to 6 so probably better value for more people

The property is situated in a convenient place for easy and quick access into Lichfield city centre. The accommodation was clean, tidy, well equipped, and for those who find these things important iPlayer, Netflix, ITVX etc freely available on the TV. Internet quality also good. Text instructions from the owners good and prompt.

Not much not to like about the property, but two things raised by my wife. 1. the shower cubicle needs a non-slip mat and 2. an occasional table in the lounge would be very useful as somewhere to put your coffee cup/wine glass whilst watching TV.

Very clean, spacious and had a wonderful shower.
