"Great location and facilities"

Super location. We took 3 cottages for a family group and there was plenty of space for the children with a great playground and outdoor toys.

There was a little confusion over the wood fired hot tub, which was specific to one of the cottages, but no real problems.

"Very enjoyable stay - thank you."

We were after somewhere very quiet - this fits the bill as it's in the middle of nowhere! The purpose of our stay was to do some walking in Exmoor. This is a good base for that. West Hollowcombe Farm is self catering, and there are no shops in the village (nearest is Dulverton, I think), so you need to plan ahead. We ate out at the two "local" pubs. If you visit Tarr Farm Inn (by Tarr Steps) you need to make sure you take the route that arrives "pub side" of the clapper bridge. Thanks also Tom for the crash course in how to operate the wood-burner!

The property is beautiful, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen was so well equipped for cooking and my husband had a great time lighting the fire each day. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fab too!

"Lovely views"

The cottage was lovely, had character and , spacious. The views were lovely

The roads to the cottage were very windy and narrow. The hot water didn't last long, and the unit under the sink kept turning off. There were no windows in the upstairs bedrooms , so with the log fire on the rooms upstairs got VERY warm

"Comfy cosy stay at the farm"

Location was remote enough and quiet enough to really feel like youre away from it all, while also being straightforward to get to. Property is tidy, well furnished, very comfortable, and has bags of charm. Grounds of the property are expansive and pretty, open fields, farm buildings, animals such as sheep and turkeys and chickens on site. BBQ and patio style seating for each apartmemt is a great touch and we used the bbq for all our evening meals. Evening with the wood burner in the living room area going paired with hot chocolates curled up on the comfy sofas with our Dachsund were a big hit 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms was great Full kitchen and dining area Booklet of local attractions laid out All in all super comfy and cosy which was what we aimed for. Even helped rescue some wayward turkeys on our first night 😂
