West Hollowcombe Farm

We loved the peaceful location with beautiful views over the rolling hills of Exmoor. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable and spacious. There are many lovely villages to explore as well as great walks and you can walk to the Tarr Steps from the property.

We liked everything!

Great location and perfectly situated to explore Exmoor. Facilities were spot on - not many places offer a bath and a shower! The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Lovely touches such as freshly picked flowers and eggs from their chickens. Also, very comprehensive information was provided for the local area including recommendations for some super places to eat!

The setting is stunning, with beautiful views and amazing stars at night. The cottage is an old building but recently refurbished and spotlessly clean. The beds are large and comfortable, the shower always has hot water and there’s a bath - lovely after a long walk. The TV can be angled to face the table or the sofa and has Netflix - also welcome after a long walk. Great Wi-Fi too. Tom gave us some great recommendations for activities and eating out - particularly Woods in Dulverton which is top notch - and was very helpful and responsive when we had questions.

We liked everything. It’s worth taking slippers and something to wrap around your shoulders when you get in / up as the stone floor gets pretty cold.

Lovely hosts, lovely location. We would definitely go back.
