Tranquility and views

-Beautiful view of the lake! It just felt very enchanting. Perfect for both people with kids, or just a group of friends ready to kick back and relax. -Super easy access to Ausable Chasm and other spots. -Internet was fast and reliable for those who need to work during their stay (as I did). -Beds were comfortable, appliances worked well. It was just a nice space to crash after a busy day.

-Great for coffee drinkers, but it would be nice to have a tea kettle/tea as well. -I was a bit surprised that despite paying for a sizeable cleaning fee, there was still garbage and dog treats under the couch from a previous guest I suppose (the dog with us managed to sniff it out and we cleaned underneath). - This is something beyond their control, but I do wish that the area itself was more dog friendly, or if there was a section near the lake that allowed dogs. I think having a pamphlet for hiking spots we could take dogs would be nice. Everything felt like it had a no dog sign allowed, so we mostly had to stick to the main road for things like morning walks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was in a beautiful location with lake views and a short walk to a large beach. It was also close to hiking trails and a short drive to visit our son at SUNY Plattsburgh. The home is clean, spacious and has all of the comforts of home. We made use of the fire pit with ample seating each night and the lawn games. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

The only drawback was the lack of water pressure in the shower, but we know that can be a common problem up in the Adirondacks. Thankfully, there was plenty of hot water though!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect , right by the lake with beautiful sunrise.

The swing on the bottom deck was beautiful! The view was breathtaking, and the fireplace was used just about every night.

Cleanliness, the condo had over and above all supplies needed for a perfect stay. Coffee was even there. Absolutely loved the place..a home away from home. Thank you

Beautiful area! It was nice and clean, and the kitchen was well equipped for “staying in”. Our kids had a wonderful time playing outside with their sleds and playing board games or watching tv after dinner. It was the perfect weekend away for my overworked husband and myself. Even got a chance to wash up everyone’s laundry while we were there so the transition back home was smooth. The best part was the affordability. It’s not always easy finding reasonably priced accommodations for our family of six! We may have to make this an annual getaway! Next time, we will be sure to take advantage of the pet friendly aspect, and bring one of our pups along.

this is an amazing house, the house has everything you need and even more, dishes, board games, towels, 3 bedrooms, a playroom, everything is clean, everything is new, the house in real life is 100% better than in the photo, the view from the window to the lake is unrealistically beautiful , 2 balconies, grill - and for little money we spent the holidays here

the photos differ from reality, but it was a pleasant surprise, the house is larger than it seems in the photo and more beautiful and newer, there was a slight smell of sewage and water
