Ortigia Sea Apartment

Comfortable apartment metres from the swimming beach . Great restaurants nearby ,including the one right under the apartment . Ortigio is a lovely old town full of charming lanes to wander around and get lost in . The Nespresso machine and pods were particularly appreciated

The only problem we had with the apartment is the low doorway going into the bathroom.

Amazing location right next to the sea and in the thick of all the restaurants and bars. Despite that it was fairly quiet at night time. Great to have a little kitchen and more space than the average hotel room to relax a bit. Watching TV in bed was quite the treat too!

Excellent stay! The location is unbeatable - just 1 minute from the seaside, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The host is incredibly responsive and goes above and beyond to assist with any issues. Highly recommended!

The location was great and our host tried to help us as much as he could during our stay.

Air conditioning was a bit noisy and we had to turn it off during the night.

The location. Is good. Very near the sea and the old town.

The noise. 3 different bin waggons through the night. Starting at 01.20. The parking was advertised on booking.com as nearby no reservation needed. A reservation is needed, we were extremely lucky to get in the car park. Other hosts made sure a booking was made. This host simply sent screen shots of nearby cat parks and only then when we enquired. Various issues with the WiFi and air-conditioning which the host didn't sort immediately. Indeed we never saw or had a conversation with the host.

We liked pretty much everything about this place! it’s surely 10/10 or more:) The location is perfect, in the heart of Ortigia (it’s a bit quieter part), close to multiple tasty and atmospheric restaurants, easily accessible by bus 106 and a bit of walking. The apartment itself is clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and with all the facilities you need on your vacation - huge plus for a coffee machine, working AC and big comfy bed! The host is so nice, not only did he let us check in a bit early but let us keep our luggage a hew hours after checkout time, which was most thoughtful!

We can’t say we didn’t like it because it didn’t bother us, but if you’re a tall person, like one of us was, you have to be careful because you can bump your head while going in the bathroom:)
