Hotel Woodstock Ennis

Breakfast, restaurant and bar were great. Staff was friendly. Facilities looked impressive (pool, hot tub, weight room).

The bathroom drain was extremely slow, a lamp shade was broken and even after informing the staff, was not replaced. The towel heater did not work when the switch was turned on, the bathroom fan was quite loud and stayed on after the light switch was off, and a room card was not needed to have the lights work.

Cleanliness and nice breakfast

The fact that we got there at around 11 am due to an early flight but we were not allowed to check into our hotel room till 2pm.

For a large hotel the staff were very friendly. Lovely big room and large bed and even a chaise long! Loads of hot water and an excellent shower. So much choice at breakfast too. Try the seafood chowder in at Poets Corner in Ennis, it is delicious!

Location was good, very quick check-in, bed was comfortable. Price was very good but it then showed why. Sausages and eggs were only good part about breakfast

Outside area being used by a large group of men loudly talking and laughing from about 9pm until 11.30pm /midnight in an area surrounded by rooms. Could hear neighbouring rooms having normal volume conversations. The soap bar holder at the bathtub, the wall around it is full of soapscum and grime. Shower curtain should really be changed! Breakfast was only okay, bacon was hard as a rock, so left it on my plate, had to stop waitress to ask where to get tea/coffee she then brought from the back a small teapot cup and saucer no spoon, no drinks available for guest to get themselves at breakfast ie orange/water/tea/coffee.
