Champagne Palm Resort

This is a beautiful place to stay. We had 2 great rooms with comfortable beds and there was a nicely equipped kitchen for our (admitedly) very basic needs. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The pool was also a highlight.

It's a little way away from Alona beach (30 min. walk), but it was possible to find tuktuks to take us back and forth. Also, despite breakfast being listed as being exceptional and 300 PHP, they don't actually offer breakfast. If you are sensitive to sound, be aware that this is right under the flight path to the airport so quite sizeable aircraft are taking off and landing right overhead.

The property was beautiful, had a lovely nature vibe. It was a bit out of town but did have local restaurants and mini markets within walking distance. Very close to the beach. It was very reasonable price to get a grab(taxi) into the town. The pool area was lovely. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was a good size. The bed was comfy. Would recommend staying here.

Our room wasnt cleaned in the 6 nights we stayed. We had to ask for extra toilet roll and our towels to be changed, wasnt a big issue for us but worth noting for others.

Comfortable accommodation - the water cooler was very welcome - and the cold beers! Gorgeous swimming pool and area around it Friendly and helpful host Great quality motor scooter hired

Some noise from neighbouring building works and on the flight path - not a problem for us but worth being aware of
