Moxy Madison Downtown

Great location when going to a show at at The Sylvee! Right around the corner. Loved the lobby fireplace, so cozy, fun air hockey machine. Room was very nice. We had 2 queens, the room was split in half, which was nice for privacy.

Parking. We got lucky and got a street spot. But we were only there overnight on a Sunday, which is free in front of the hotel. Otherwise thwy wanted 34 bucks for parking. Ridiculous in my opinion.

Comfortable, staff very nice, close to event.

The Moxy is fun and hip and the location is great. I grew up on the east side of Madison, so for me it's a homecoming of sorts. There are lots of restaurants, quirky shops etc nearby AND it's easy to get downtown or to UW campus by foot or bus.

The staff was not always very responsive. We wanted to relax with a beer at happy hour time, and the 1st-floor bar was supposedly open, but we sat for a looooong time with employees cleaning up and setting up and not acknowledging us at all. So that was kind of a turn-off. Also, we asked for an iron and they said it would be right up and it never came.

Great room, very large, parking was expensive but easy. Also, no food nearby but nice overall.

The beds were pretty comfortable. The location was perfect. Very cute hotel
