Ryanbagus Guest House

The location is fantastic, the staff were very friendly, and the rooms were spotless. When I arrived early my room was already available. Unfortunately there were a few disappointing items at this property.

For four days we had not a drop of hot water. I told staff the second day and he said it must be out of gas I will change it. It was never changed or had any hot water for my daughter and I. The bathroom had a really bad odour at first I couldn’t work out what it was however now I think it was the smell of gas unfortunately. Also the aircon isn’t working properly, the room being upstairs is very hot. It’s unfortunate that these items impacted my review immensely.

Decent bungalow. You could rent a motorbike for 50K small one and 100K big one for a day. They had a cafe linked to the place, although I didn’t use it but it was convenient. Mosquito nets installed.

No one stayed at the front desk the whole time, so you had to call them each time you wanted to speak to them. Toilet had a funky smell every-time you used it.

Amazing place !! My favorite so far !! Rooms are so clean, modern, nicely decorated, lot of nice furniture, such a cosy and comfy place. everything is in perfect “state” (even the bathroom.) Very beautiful little garden and swimming pool. Staff and owner are so sympathic and they rent you scooter for very correct price (scoopy 50k a day) Location is calm, far from busy and noises from Canggu. They also have coffee restaurant very close with good food, lot of choices and good price. Room price is very good considering the quality. Bonus: cute and cuddly cat from the owner!

The only thing I could add to make it a little better is if they had fly/ mosquito netting over the vent in the bathroom.

The place has lots of character. Staff is really friendly. Food at the coffee shop next door is pretty good. Bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot.

There wasn't many hours of sunlight around the pool at the time we were there. We haven't seen much around the area but the accommodation is 15 mins away from the beach so not bad.

I have stayed here a long time. Ayu and her staff are lovely, always with a genuine smile. They take care of the garden and clean your room everyday. They have a cafe/restaurant where they serve the best quality/price breakfast I've seen in a month in Canggu, also in Ubud. No doubt this will be a good decision if you stay in Canggu

Nice pool, beautiful surroundings on the property. Easy to add motorbike rental to the hotel payment (credit card). Very nice helpful staff

We didn’t like the location, Canggu isn’t super walkable. Long motorbike journey (20+ mins) to a beach covered in trash. Prices are also inflated here with many remote workers. No sidewalks and far journey to get anywhere besides a few close cafes. The hotel was very hard to find at night, it’s a bit off the main road and only has a small sign next to the cafe. Adding hand soap by the sink would be nice. The hotel was nice just didn’t like Canggu. The negatives we felt are not the fault of the hotel, Canggu just wasn’t for us.
