Large and spacious, comfortable bed, good linen & towels.

On arrival we could not access the key code. We were provided with a code, which we assumed was the key code however, on arrival the only code which had been sent failed to work. We made several attempts to contact the owner by email and telephone contact, without success. Fortunately the lady in the lower flat, who permanently resides there, was able to contact the cleaner, who arrived and provided the code. The lady in the lower property informed us that other people arriving at the flat had also experienced problems accessing the code. The cleaner suggested that we should have received a code, it was explained that the only code sent, did not allow access. This initial negative experience obviously caused concern. On vacating the property we again attempted to contact the owner by text message in an attempt to access a code to allow the key to the property to be safely left. Much to our frustration the text message received an immediate response, this is unacceptable, when all our previous attempts to contact the owner had failed. We would not recommend this property to family or friends due to the confusion on arrival and also we considered the property to be tired and in need of some redecoration, we also discovered underwear in the bureau in the lounge area. In conclusion, this property was not to our usual standard and we would not consider returning.

Key for inner door downstairs didn't work properly had to ring host to come and let us in we had trouble all weekend with it .when we went out we were frightened we would not get back in , that spoilt our stay .

Easy to find, Walking distance of town centre. Lovely clean warm home, WiFi was good, Beds comfy, easy to access property.

Alarm on back door kept buzzing due to the wind because of the snow blizzard in the night. Had to keep pushing door back to lock and stop buzzing Bedroom was a bit cold due to bed being against the radiator. On the Saturday night we had the neighbour above us partying and banging very loud into the early hours

Loads of space and it was so warm and cozy. Had everything we could have needed and more. Will definitely be booking again.

Everything was great. Brilliant apartment within a period building. The rooms are much larger than the photos represent.

The sofa bed really only comfortably suits one person or two children.

Large rooms lots of light, everything you need for your stay. Highly recommended.

Loved the location and the facilities in the kitchen. You're provided with dishwasher tablets and things you may need to make quick meals. Nice crockery, towels and a large bedroom and lounge.

Some utensils weren't clean, the frying pan needed a good scrub, could do with being replaced if I'm being honest. Oven mittens, again needs replacing. The place is looking a bit tired but that's a given due to the age of the property. The window in the bedroom was rattling a little as it was windy, had to wedge a cotton pad so I could get some sleep. The sofa bed mattress is old and generally the place needs a good clean under sofas, dusty surfaces and in the cob webbed corners. The hot water taps were fine in the bathroom but the shower water was tepid. We contacted the owners and were told to let the hot water run until desired temperature, however I let it run for the whole of my shower and the temperature didn't change. The following day I increased the temperature on the boiler, which helped a little. The other taps were scalding though. Also, please change the dining table, it's lopsided/broken and you're scared to put your plate or drink on it.
