The Beautiful Bankmore Penthouse

The location was great and the living area was superb. Quality furnishings good tech throughout.

The beds were small, the second bedroom was not large enough even for the small double. The ensuite bathroom had a sink that was too small to be useful. The main bathroom whilst nicely appointed had no shower and was downstairs so not ideal. Overall in our opinion the sleeping arrangements were inadequate for four adults.

Location was great, the space is fab, all home comforts, loved it.

Location was excellent, easy walking distance to many places, very central, would defiantly use again if ever back in belfast

The only small problem we found was there was four of us but only 3 chairs on the balcony, which we used a lot as weather was great and had excellent views

Amazing location, easy to get to from the International Airport, about 30mins, there is a bus available for £6

I would recommend getting one more chair for the terrace. There was nowhere to hang towels in the ensuite. The TV needs some instructions to get terrestrial channels. But you can see these are minimal issues and did not impact our stay.

Love how the host had little notes everywhere to make things easier! eg, how to work blinds, lighting etc etc

A Queen sized bed would be nice!

We picked the Bankmore Penthouse for its location, touch of luxury and balcony to people watch.. Location: it's 2-3:min walk from Belfast city town hall, it seems that all the walking, hop-on-hop-off bus and black cab tours start from here. The main shopping streets fan out from the town hall. Another 5 mins walk and you hit the St Anne cathedral which starts the cathedral quarter the main pub/restaurant area. Luxury: The apartment is just the right level of luxury for us, roll top bath, all the kitchen gadgets you need, huge sofa, fab bedding, amazing balcony overlooking the city. But homely, not over the top where you would be scared of breaking anything. Balcony: after a day of the normal tourist stuff we always came back to the apartment to get ready for the evening. With a G&T in hand we spent an hour relaxing on the balcony. (Seventh floor, so quiet ✅, high rails for kids✅ lift ✅ city views✅).

Hard to think of anything, the communal entrance hall could do with a lick of paint.

Everything!! I could not fault a thing! it’s central for everything in Belfast. it’s beautifully decorated and furnished to a very high standard! The extra touches that we weren’t expecting just added to the thoughtfulness of the owners- cereal, jams, butters. crisps, nuts and Prosecco! it was everything and more than we could’ve hoped for!!
