Gorgeous private rental in the most perfect location! Iconic views of Kyotos most “Instagram able “ picture spot right outside the bedroom sitting area. Loved being able to stroll to amazing coffee and pastries every morning .

No trains nearby- we did have taxi service steps away though which honestly is faster especially in the evenings

这次日本行最喜欢的一家度假屋。地理位置非常优秀，闹中取静，门外是极其热闹的八坂通，每个时段出门都是熙熙攘攘拍八坂塔的人群，但是一进入度假屋的小巷便一片宁静，房间舒适方便，还有可爱的小院子，泡澡的地方可以感受用竹子围起来迷你庭院，还有洗衣机和简单的餐具满足自己动手做大餐的愿望，出门就是古色古香的二年坂三年坂，总之非常满意的一家住宿，下次还想住可以看见八坂塔的房间哟～ This is my favorite vacation home during this trip to Japan. The location is excellent, offering a peaceful retreat amid the hustle and bustle. Outside the door is the bustling Yasaka Street, where people are always crowded taking pictures of the Yasaka Tower every time you go out. However, once you enter the alley of the vacation home, it becomes quiet. The room is comfortable and convenient, and there is also a lovely little courtyard. At the place for bathing, you can experience a mini courtyard surrounded by bamboo. There is also a washing machine and simple tableware to fulfill the wish of cooking a big meal by oneself. Right outside the door is the ancient and charming Nienzaka and Sanzaka. In short, it is a very satisfying accommodation. I want to stay in a room with a view of the Yasaka Tower again next time ~

absolutely no service. no one changes sheets, no place to throw garbage, on the third day, there is a cockroach at the gate

Beautiful space in the quaintest part of town, directly on a pathway historic houses and shops of course near two amazing shrines.

This is not a complaint so much as for awareness that because it is in a historical district, it is about a 15-20 minute walk to the subway or city center. We viewed that as a plus, but in the hot summer it can be tiring.
