Westport Estate Glamping Village

Loved the open space and good room both inside and outside the tent

Nothing it was a nice break but pricey

lovely location, well sheltered by trees

The equipment provided for Glamping was inadequate and therefore anyone visiting would need to bring their own equipment such as dinner plates, cups, cutlery, bowls, wash basin, flask, electric kettle, warm blankets, plenty of one euro coins to pay for use of cooker.

The tipee was very clean and comfortable and being able to charge our phones was a great plus, they provided a little basket for us to us to assist with eating at the tent alongside the egg barbarque, which was fabulous, and the shower and toilet facilities were well lit, nearby and clean.

As it was our 1st time staying in a tipee, we didn't know what to expect it did get a bit cold in there at night but luckily I had brought extra blankets which solved that as it did rain hard overnight but we were lovely and dry! So maybe heavier blankets could be left at the end of the beds instead of a light throw. My main issue was that there was no where to and sit and have a decent breakfast the following morning the food available to us at 10.30 was coffee/Tea or hot chocolate and a few buns nothing else and as we hadn't been givenbany further information as to the nearest restaurants to the adventure village and campsite that's what we had to eat as the kids were booked in for activities on site at 11.00 .

The location was great and so were the facilities. The new sauna should be advertised before hand or sent in an email as 18 of us stayed and not all had stuff to use it.

The gates! We were never told one gate to walk into the town was closed. We were never told what times each gate closed at, at night time and this caused us to be locked out having to ring for assistance.
