Fantastic, quiet location jn nature, with great mountain views and farm animals around. Amazong hosts and staff - warm, hospitable, engaing and rightly proud of their work.

Heerlijk rustig, tussen Windhoek en het vliegveld. Basic huisjes met heerlijke bedden en prima douche. Ivm de kou (-5 C in deze periode) kregen we iedere avond een kruik mee. Gezellige bar, zowel buiten als binnen. Gezellige (houten) kamer voor het ontbijt en diner met heerlijke houtkachel. Op het terrein een mooi zwembad en 2 mooie trails. Vriendelijk personeel.

What a beautiful location. What an incredible eye for detail. So much love has been put into this place. So many little things to admire and enjoy. Despite all the trinkets, dust, and so many different places to hang out, everything is spotless clean. All of this comes next to the beautiful view over the mountains, and the opportunity to walk among them. Additionally, it is a working farm with friendly dogs and cats (cat Alfred sat on my lap during dinner), horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, calves and other animals. Most of these animals walk around freely, and must have a great life. It is located after six kilometres of mountainous dirt road from the main road and dozens of kilometres from Windhoek. This means the stars at night are beautiful, and we heard jackals and baboons calling during the night.

Two things to improve: a thing to put your soap on in the shower. And the name does not really seem to fit the place. When I first saw the name, I expected it would be some kind of generic backpackers place, so I made a point of checking the reviews and photos before being assured that it was not. In actual fact, it is a lot more attractive, beautiful and clean, than you would expect from such a name.

Beautiful quiet area and great food!! The scenery was amazing and I greatly enjoyed the hiking trails!

Long rough dirt road to get there...but well worth it.

This is the most brilliant accomodation with a lovely breakfast included. It is close to the airport and just off the road, all you have to do is follow the simple instructions.We read about the chocolate cake and coffee which was outstanding. On arrival a joyful experience awaits one in beautiful setting. Well worth it and lovely, competent and friendly staff. Thank you so much. Robin and Christine
