Happy Valley Residence

Ashan and his family went way beyond expectations to make this stay magical. sri lankan breakfast every day where they cook delicious local dishes for us to try. the house is so beautiful, quiet, homey. the surroundings are super peaceful yet not too far from the beach. We rented a car so this was perfect. if you don't have a car, maybe a bit annoying to have to call tuk tuks all the time. The yoga place nearby is amazing. the nature around is beautiful, this stay could not have been better. I was working from the house and the wifi was very strong, and there was a table with a chair in the room so it was also easy to work.

Everything was good. Wide room and bathroom. Clean, calm and comfortable place. The host is helpful, friendly and willing The breakfast was very good with pancakes, fruit and jam homemade. Very recommended!

Position, but by car or tuktuk it's ok!

The property is great, amazing house, great bathroom with an open roof. Bed is really comfortable enough room is quite spacious. Besides that the host is very welcoming and explains a lot about the neighbourhood and what to do. Also breakfast is really nice with fruits and stuff from their own garden.

It is a bit far from the beach and any restaurants but if you rent a scooter its no problem at all! We were well provided with a trusted scooter rental who set us up with a great scooter.

After a month traveling in Sri Lanka, this has been the best place we have stayed. Located in a quiet place, The house is very big and beautiful. Both the room and the bathroom are huge. The bed is big and very comfortable. Everything was super clean. Ashan and his family are lovely, they helped us and gave us information of what we needed. The breakfast was plentiful and varied (every day we tried different dishes). I totally recommend this stay if you come to Galle (the city is 15 minutes by tuktuk).

Everything was great!

The rooms are spacious, cosy and clean. The outdoor bathroom is a masterpiece, even more magical in the early hours of the morning and at night. The hosts were exceptional, helped us a lot and recommended the best beaches around. They also arranged a scooter rental and transportation from Unawatuna to Yala with very affordable prices. The breakfast was really good and tasty with a wide choice. On the second day instead we tried the typical breakfast with warm hopper, eggs and jams and a refreshing mango juice. Big shout out to the mango jam ( homemade) . What can I say, one of the best stay in Sri Lanka. Thank you so much guys to have make our stay memorable! Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved the room and the outdoor bathroom especially! Everything was super clean and the people who owned the guesthouse were so kind and nice. They made sure we were comfortable and had a great time! The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious and we can let them know our preference the night before. It was so easy to communicate with them and get things done for example I wanted to make some soup for dinner and they happily obliged. Great customer service, Super clean and comfortable rooms and Great food. Totally recommend it to anyone who visits Galle or Unawatuna!

The attention and the place made us want to extend our stay with my partner. We definitely recommend this place.
