Had everything needed for a week stay

Mattress was uncomfortable, parking was a bit grey area, only park after 7:30pm by the flats, paid parking nearby

The decor and set up of the flat was stunning!

I was finding a lot of random hairs of other people around the flat, especially on the carpet and the couch. Maybe it should’ve been cleaned a little bit better.

The apartment had some positive aspects. The kitchen was well equipped, and the balcony was a nice addition. A Tesco superstore was conveniently located just a 7-minute walk away, and the city centre was accessible with about a 20-minute walk. We were also allowed to check out 45 minutes later, which we appreciated.

The check-in process was frustrating and poorly handled. I was given incorrect instructions multiple times, stating that the keys were in a lockbox on Nelson Street. Upon arrival, no such lockbox was there. After calling the host, I was told the instructions were wrong and had to wait 10 minutes for updated ones, which directed me to a different address 4 minutes away. This delay was extremely inconvenient, especially since I needed to use the bathroom. We finally entered the apartment at 16:30, 30 minutes after the scheduled check-in time. Inside, the space was clearly not cleaned: trash was left in the bins, used towels were in a pile, and the sheets had hair from previous guests. I contacted the host immediately, and they arranged for a cleaner to come at 18:00—she arrived at 18:30. I stayed to ensure the bed linens were properly changed. We were forced to delay resting or freshening up and instead went for a walk to salvage what was left of the day. Lighting was poor—just two dim ceiling spotlights in the bathroom and one weak pendant in the bedroom. It was nearly impossible to do basic grooming like applying makeup or fixing your hair. The bathroom mirror was oddly far from where you can stand, making it impractical. The bed mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, sinking in at every move and letting the springs press against us. There was also noticeable wear and tear throughout the apartment (floors, wallpaper, furniture, curtain rod, chipped paint, etc.). I’d recommend that future guests record a video upon arrival to document the condition just in case. Although the host did try to resolve issues after I reported them, these were things that should have been handled before our arrival. I expect my holidays to be relaxing—not filled with stress and avoidable problems. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet my expectations.

Good apartment, spacious and cozy. Comfy bed. Fully equipped kitchen, big fridge. Nice terace outside, big windows so a lot of daylight. Big TESCO near by. Super close walkable distance to old city canals, nice place for a walk and many local pubs there.

Very poorly done cleaning after previous guests. If the host change something in cleaning routine, the apartment will be an excellent place to stay. To be fair, the host provided additional cleaning after my complain. The area arround the block is super dirty, a lot of different king of debree and other trash everywhere. I trawelled with the dog and had to wear dog boots to my pet to avoid the broken glass for examle. But such is all arround the city centre. Not only arround the building. Car parking is super tiny, fits only few cars. If you got lucky there is a spot. But also easily you can get blocked with another car, as there in no enough space for all.

Property was about 30 seconds from the venue and only a 5 min walk to Brimley place where they have nice cocktail bars along the canal and the ICC. Great spot

The towels they provided didn't seem clean, the sinks had stains on them and the toothbrush holder was covered in fungus. Really didn't seem like a proper clean had been done. The entrance to the flats on the groundfloor, looked as if a hurricane came through, all the mailboxes seemed as though they had been torn to pieces with the gates being broken into. Looked very dodgy and not as portrayed by the advertisement

Good flat, good location.

Please replace bedding to cotton fabric.
