USThe size was right for the two of us. Not too noisy, but we could here the people next door.
Was built on a concrete slab that was VERY cold. And there were many gaps in the area rugs, especially on one of the sides of the bed, requiring us to have to walk on the cement. We had a hard time getting the heating to work. I had to call four different numbers before I reached a person. That person sent someone out to figure it out. Also there were only 3 LED lights in the ceiling the the kitchen/sitting area and one (then two) were out. We had told the maintenance person when they looked at the heating, but noone came back to resolve/
ZAKitchen area and braai facilities. Extra set of towels supplied, which was very useful as no cleaning service and the towels do not dry in time. Emma was very friendly and accommodating.
Aircon did not become warm, but then we did not report it either. No hot water at basin in bathroom. Back unit's braai area is directly behind bedroom of front unit - as nobody was staying there, it was not a problem for us.

I would have expected that a guard and controlled gate after 10 pm would be in place. We arrive at 01:30 in morning and could just drive in.
ZAThe setting:the mountains, the trees and green outstretch lawns and the historical buildings -old world charm . Stylish chalets,with super comfy beds and beautiful decor, everything so neat and clean .
The busy road nearby disturbs the peacefulness of the whole scene.

During the night there was what sounded like a mouse on the roof and it kept running and making the worst noise.

We had arranged for Braai fire to be lit with our hire of boma but we had to call staff to light them.

MZWe stayed for just one night, but it was perfect! The house is cozy, well-equipped, and located in a beautiful and safe farm setting. We didn’t have time to explore everything, but as a wedding venue, it’s surely even more stunning than what we saw. It felt a bit far from the city, but getting a UBER was no problem at all. We’ll definitely be back!
