Unique coastal detached property

Dog friendly, secluded yet close to the beach. Fab outside space. Relaxing and quirky. Views. Facilities. Easy to get to. Parking.

Garden not fully secure so need to tie dogs up to prevent escaping. Needs outdoor furniture and sun loungers :)

Walks from the door were great for dogs , beautiful views ,house was spacious and had absolutely everything we needed .

Nothing it was perfect

Great location, beautiful beach, quirky accommodation, but just right for a short getaway. Enclosed garden for the dogs, and lovely balcony to sit out on. Good facilities in the kitchen, conservatory and log burner a wonderful feature. Private parking Lovely and clean Responsive host. Books and games for those quiet times.

Spend a little more money and time on getting the bedroom and bed linen right. Use a king size duvet for a double bed, as someone will always be left with their nether regions exposed otherwise. (I don’t like to share and it was cold at night) Good bed linen, gives that little bit extra and turns a good stay, into an exceptionally great stay. Small things, but worth investing in, for that wow experience. Have some spare blankets for those cold people like me. Don’t get me wrong, we loved our stay, but it would be even better if you… Change the shower curtain Have some sun loungers as this is a wonderful location and perfect sun trap. Oh.. and if you ever find that missing puzzle piece, I would be most grateful. We spent ages doing that puzzle, only to find one piece was missing!

Walking distance from the local shop, super beach and lovely pub selling excellent food. Beautiful views down to the beach. Very comfortable living room and well equipped kitchen.

During high winds, there was a tapping noise coming from the roof. This requires attention as kept my husband and I awake all night.

Better directions to the property, its road three, and the information doesn't tell you that. There is no head height in most of the property (I'm only 5'7) the living room, the front door, and the shower being particularly bad areas. Self-catering or not, some sachets of sugar would have been useful and more than one tea towel and sponge. Had no Internet first day, but host sorted it for day two. Extremely draughty and none of the doors close properly, including the front door. The shower curtain might as well not be there, and shower space is ridiculous. Unfortunately, it's not what I expected when I booked the property and felt a bit let down.
