Central Park Hollywood Apartment

Location, very central and close to food places!

Not actually two bedroom but two separate beds!

Spacious apartment next to the park! Relatively cheap! Easy communication

The air conditioning unit smelled really bad whenever we turned it on and still it didn't cool the apartment. The bed in the living room had a very bad mattress and it hurt our backs

The location is easily accesible by public transport and is located in a very good spot, the instructions for self check-in were very clear and easily understandable.

Well, where to start... Very dark apartment, that includes one of ceiling lamps not working. One of the table lamps was broken (already reported by someone else quite a while ago, and still not fixed), the lights in the bathroom didn't look very safe as well. One of the power sockets in the furthest room looked like it had nearly caught fire at some time in the past. Also in bathroom there was no trash can, water not flowing away from shower and because of that reaching the areas of bathroom outside of the shower itself. That probably explains the rag that was laying on the floor next to the shower. One of the beds was broken and the broken bed slats were still laying on the floor under the bed, not fixed or at least removed by the staff. One of the pillows on that same bed was also so thin, it was nearly nonexistent. Despite a very large (and loud!) air conditioner it was quite hot during the night (AC couldn't be used during the night because of the noise it made), therefore our sleep quality was fairly poor. Kitchen. Almost everything was broken - cupboard doors with glass missing, washing machine with a broken drawer for washing powder, cupboard under the sink with broken doors, and the kitchen counter was very poorly made and wobbly. Dirty dishes on the shelves. In order to boil some water, first you have to plug in the extension cord in the socket on the other side of the kitchen. And on top of this a very squeaky floor that left the impression of falling apart soon and spiderwebs and dead mosquitos on the floor. One of if not the worst place I've stayed in and in my opinion really not worth the price.

Roberto gave us excellent instructions on how to enter the flat and even sent the video on email when I couldn't download it on WhatsApp. The location is fantastic, in a lovely quiet area right next to a huge park with everything you can imagine in a park - cafes, play areas, boating lake! Felt very safe too as a woman walking round alone. Easy to get to on public transport and within walking distance of the old town, parliament building etc. Little supermarket just round the corner with a decent selection. Lots of great restaurants and bars nearby. Inside the flat the beds were very comfy and the shower powerful with lots of hot water. Lots of amenities - WiFi, hairdryer, TV, kettle etc. Aircon very efficient if loud. Nice and clean, quiet neighbours.

Flat just feels a little unloved - only one usable coffee mug (the second had a huge crack in it), bedside lamp is coming apart in the living room - electric socket in the kitchen is literally hanging off the wall which didn't feel safe. We actually purchased coffee cups and left them behind, so the next guests at least have usable ones :D The shower drains very slowly and you are soon paddling - which would be ok except the seal at the base of the shower is failing so the water leaks out into the rest of the bathroom. As it was lovely warm weather I would turn the water off and let it drain then continue washing.

Very old apartment with destroying furniture. It’s was not so clean. The kitchen isn’t equipped very well. There was 4 cup of coffee and the fourth was different.
