House super clean, comfortable, amazing location

Very clean comfortable stay

Everything was clean and comfortable and very spacious. There were also some nice little treats like flowers on the table and toiletpaper and towels foulded in a decorative way. Futhermore the host was easy to reach and helpful when we had problems with the key lock the first night

unfortunately the sounds of the street were really loud

The apartment was beautiful, cozy, and more than I expected which is a great thing. Definitely would use this property again if in Providence again.

Nothing it was perfect.

It is hard to argue with the price we paid for this place compared to everything else on offer. It is a clean spacious 2 bedroom with hardwood floors and stone tiles. The neighborhood is a little run down, but there were lots of places to get good Mexican and other types of Latin American food nearby. The bus was close by, though not set up for easy payment by visitors (unless you have exact fare in cash)

The heat does not reach the bathroom- we had to keep the bedrooms hotter than we like by far and were still shivering in the bathroom. Someone cared enough once to put in stone tiles which would normally be a nice detail, but they just made it colder. The shower had very little pressure, so it certainly couldn't make up for the cold. Could barely rinse my hair. One towel and one wash cloth each, no extras. If you are a couple planning to share a bed, this might not bother you, but I traveled with my son and one of the bedrooms had no curtains, just very translucent venetian blinds. outside a bright streetlight shined in on me all night. I hadn't brought an eye mask so I slept poorly. The bed and sheets were not great either. I am sensitive to chemical smells and the sheets and towels all smell strongly of chemical laundry scents; they irritated my skin on contact. This room had no lamp, so only a very bright overhead light that you have to get out of bed to turn off. In the kitchen, the electric kettle and coffee maker were on a counter with an outlet that doesn't work with a worrying scorched look. Worked fine on the other side of the room. One of the cupboards is broken and won't close. Dishwasher is broken, and I wouldn't mind, but it is covered with tape and scrawled messages about it. In general it just seems like this place lacks love and its a shame that some of the easy items aren't fixed, like providing curtains and a lamp, fixing cupboards, putting a neat sign on the dishwasher instead of duct tape and sharpie scrawls, washing the linens with unscented products. some things like the heat would probably be harder to tackle. That said, at this price maybe I would stay here again, but I would bring an eyemask, long pajamas so I don't touch the sheets, and a reading lamp. I also wouldn't stay here more than one night in winter because of the icy bathroom.

When we needed an extra blanket it was delivered promptly.

This place is old, filthy and extremely noisy. The neighbourhood is questionable. We had 7 police cars show up 4 houses over to add entertainment. From the mouse droppings under the kitchen sink to the fur on the tops of the window frames this place hasn’t been cleaned (deep cleaned) in years. You can hear cars, people walking by and of course the neighbour upstairs without trying. They get up and watch the morning news at 6:30. Save your self the disappointment and rent elsewhere.

Exactly as described, felt like I was at home, nothing fancy, it was just right.

Floors squeaked a little, I’m not used to that but it added to its charm.

Nice cozy apartment which was easy to get around Providence. The host was very nice and easy to get a hold of if we needed anything.
