The hygiene of the environment and the security is very good

The owner was very friendly, helpful and communicated well over WhatsApp. The doorman was also friendly and helpful, and on-station 24/7. Appliances were all in working order. Wifi was fast and reliable. The apartment was clean and, honestly, I don't think you'll find much better accommodation at that price in south beach.

Both the building and the apartment itself need maintenance and, in cases, renovations. Many fittings and utensils were broken, chipped, rusted (including the cooking hobs), splitting apart or otherwise worn down. Several lights weren't working, nor did the access chip for the building front door (though the doorman was helpful and let us in). The kitchen lacked a few basic utensils for cooking, including just one proper sharp kitchen knife. The fire extinguisher hasn't been serviced since 2022, and there is some electrical wiring in the kitchen that concerned me. The area is just about on the edge of the CBD, which is quite dirty and noisy at night (and not very clean... we saw quite a few cockroaches in the building). The apartment is at the back of the building, so no sea views. I'm used to roughing it a bit on occasion, so none of these bothered me too much, but you have to know what to expect before booking here. Manage your expectations.

Near to the beach

Its very dirty- floors, walls even bathroom

I loved the fact that its near the beach, the lady who contact us was also friendly. The receptionist was also friendly and always willing to help. Beds are comfortable and the place had no noise at night.

1. Every thing you touch had a note written, even the curtain dividing the bed was hanging as if like it will fall and we had to be very careful not to touch it as it was hanging very loosely. Everything was just "handle with care". 2. Shower had no glass, therefore when you finish showering, the water would be all over the floor. 3. The toilet/bathroom sliding door was not moving smoothly, we ended up not even closing it anymore.
