Stylish Penarth Marina Apartment

Everything was nice from the apartment. The views from the marina was also beautiful.

Great location, and so convenient if visiting Cardiff. Lovely walks around the marina and surrounding area, very flat too. Also, close to pub with beer garden supermarket and train station.

Property is in an excellent location with convenient parking. The apartment was clean and tidy and provided an excellent base for our visit to Penarth. Plenty to see going on around the marina and discovered some friendly restaurants around the marina area in walking distance.

It was in an ideal location in Penarth and a lovely spacious one bedroom apartment.

Unfortunately there wasn’t any oven gloves so made cooking tricky, the shower temperature was quite confusing.

Apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated. Great location with lovely walks and views.

The apartment was in an excellent location. We were very lucky with the weather and the Marina was sparkling as we arrived. It was fantastic to have a reserved parking place and we left the car there for the weekend and enjoyed beautiful walks around Cardiff Bay and over into Penarth. The train station was an easy walk away too, and the trains ran frequently for our trip to Cardiff City Stadium. Our daughter had recommended visiting Ty Melin, the amazing bakery which has an outlet on the Marina. The bread and pastries are out of this world and we had 2 fantastic breakfasts sitting in the sunshine pouring through the windows of the apartment looking out over the cherry blossom trees outside. We found the bed and pillows very comfortable and the area was very quiet overnight, meaning we slept well. Tesco's is conveniently close if you choose not to eat out.

We had a great weekend, but did find the shower controls a little difficult to start, although the shower, once we got used to it, was excellent. It would have been nice to have a bread knife to cut the Ty Melin wholemeal seeded sourdough! And maybe some oven gloves? Nothing spoiled our weekend though.

The location was fine but a car was needed for shops, other amenities etc. There was good space in the aprtment.

The shower mechanisms did not work properly and the taps seemed to just turn and turn with no water coming out. The public areas leading to the apartment need a bit of TLC.
