Apartman Katarina Bački Monoštor

This is a lovely oasis in a nondescriptive sidestreet, the entirely overhauled home of the owner's grandmother. It comprises two independent units ( we were the sole guests) but the immaculately- kept garden with its creative decorations also contains a variety of outside seating and cooking options. In a week or so the pool will also be completed. When the owner arrived later in the day, she came with a gift of the family's own produce and a bottle of lemonade. She even gave advice on where to park in Sombor and best burek outlet! Her English was extremely good.

It would be difficult to criticize anything about this accommodation. The only things I noticed was that the bedside rug was somewhat slippery, and the otherwise well-proportioned shower lacked anywhere to place soap or shampoo.

We spent a wonderful day in a beautiful, charming countryside house. The atmosphere was peaceful, and every detail of the house showed great care. Marija, the host was extremely kind and helpful, making us feel very welcome. We would warmly recommend it to anyone!

Marija is always the kind and nicest host. Second time here, but I think we will come again 😊 The neighbourhood is fantastic and local shops are very near as well.

To say that the place exceeded our expectations would be the understatement of the year. Our trip did not start very well – due to work we left 8 hours later than we should have and we were arriving in the early morning. We were anxious about the whole arrangement with codes, keys, etc. However, our communication with the owner – Marija, was perfect, she assured us that everything was arranged and answered all our questions. When we arrived, we could not believe how beautiful the place was. It was obviously designed and is maintained with a lot of care and love. Every single detail was thought about, there is nothing that is not provided. We found home-made muffins, cookies and lemonade waiting for us, our kids were over the moon! The beds are super comfy, even the sofa-bed, and everything was spotlessly clean and smelled so nice. There is an AC which was great as we were travelling during heatwave. The kitchen is fully equipped, so even if you come for a long stay, you would have everything you need. The pictures do not make the apartment justice, they just cannot capture the magic of the place. The garden is a story of its own, it is beautiful, with so many lovely details, you just want to sit there and never leave. There is also a swimming-pool, which we did not have time to try, but it also looked super clean. I still cannot believe how inexpensive this place is having in mind how lovely and comfortable it is. Another bonus is that we could park our car right next to the house, so it was secure. The place is located in a very quiet village and it must be amazing for a longer stay, you can ride the bikes and visit so many places. I really hope, we will be able to come back. My only regret (but a big one) is that we stayed only for one night. I would love to stay here for a longer period and enjoy the magic and the relaxing atmosphere of this place.

Such an amazing and warm welcome! Every detail is thought of, it is a wonderful garden that is tended on daily basis. Very comfortable and spacious apartment equipped with everything you may need. I am only sad that with such amazing reviews, I will not be able to afford to come in the future :D

Safe motorcycle parking behind a gate. Very nice owner who greeted us with homemade drink and snacks. The place is very beautiful, and has a nice pool as well. Perfectly clean and neat.
