Compact double bedroom apartment , close to the town, walkable ..parking right in front,..well stocked with a functional kitchen ..owner was reachable throughout and always ready to help..even tried his best to arrange a microwave though he got us a gril instead

We've stayed in Cortina before but absolutely rate this as our favorite! It was small, but very cozy and well equipped with everything you need! We really appreciated the free parking and how easy it is to walk to town from this location! It was also its own little building, so it was nice to feel space between us and neighbors!

Great location, walking distance from shopping and restaurants. The area is amazingly beautiful and great for hiking.

Great location and very well kept apartment.

Arrived and noted that windows were open and heat from radiant heaters was very warm. Tried turning thermostat down but were immediately contacted by Enrico that this function could only be controlled remotely by him. We had him turn it down to 18 degrees C. We had an issue with the kitchen door/window that would not close. Able to close bath window without problem. Contacted Enrico and found that as he was trying to help us by video that to get the handle to operate required holding a small piece of metal back to allow the handle to function properly. While we felt bad we had to contact Enrico for this it is a huge window and we were concerned it would break. It would have been nice to have more than 1 roll of toilet paper and some dishwashing soap.

Location is amazing

The owner is great and helpful, easy to contact. The property is clean and well maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped. The location is great. Nice neighborhood.

Lots of little, easily fixed things made the stay more taxing than necessary * Most annoying: having to call at arrival to get full street address, meaning we drove around aimlessly looking for the building until we pulled over to call. What if you don’t have local cell service? Lots of other guests have complained about this but nothing has changed * Weird key management system: key just left on the front window sill. Why not buy a $20 lockbox like every other innkeeper does and then you don’t have to hide the building location until the last minute? * Front door locks automatically when you close it, so god help you if you go outside without the key. * Inadequate explanations for how things work. The fridge was turned off — this was not disclosed - so our food got warm for hours until we noticed the fridge was off. * The WiFi router was battery powered and not turned on or plugged in, so we had to figure out how to turn it on, and then how to plug it in. Why? Worst of all, the charging cable was plugged into a switch- controlled outlet so when we turned off the lights at night, charging stopped and the router died. Again, why? At the least, why not explain all this, and do so in German and English for non-Italian guests. * Decor looked like 1940s granny style, with some “Silence of the Lambs” wall art. A really minor refresh would help. See photo * Kitchen offered no coffee or tea so we had to buy everything for a short term stay
