Skyline Court Holiday Apartments

Lovely family that hosted our stay were very helpful and answered our messages almost instantly. Very clean modern and spacious. Perfect for families. Bedrooms were air conditioned but living area was not. Also internet was not the best. But still give a 10/10 because everything else was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Everything was very nice

Our stay at Skyline Court Holiday Apartments was very convenient and comfortable! The key handover was extremely easy thanks to the secure key box system, which made check-in smooth and flexible. Another great feature was the elevator in the building, making it easy to move luggage and get around.

Unfortunately, our experience was a bit impacted by the very hard beds, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. On top of that, there was a donkey nearby that brayed loudly throughout the night, making it even harder to rest properly.

Everything was excellent. Very clean and practical.

WiFi should be better

The place was spotlessly clean, equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It even had a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, something which we normally don’t get to use, which made the stay even more special. A real draw for us was the ‘remote’ location, quiet surroundings and the views from the balcony. The flat’s balcony overlooks long stretches of fields and farmland, with extensive views of the port in the distance, certain landmarks and Marsaxlokk Bay. It was a real treat to start and end each day sitting on the balcony while taking note of how everything looked different depending on the quality of light from sunrise to sunset, and then at night being able to stargaze since the light pollution is minimal there. The check-in/check-out was made simple with a key-storage safe box. In terms of amenities, we took advantage of Lidl, which is within walking distance and other local convenience shops. Given its location in the centre of the island, it makes an excellent base for exploring and getting to Valetta whilst also having the peace and quiet of the beautiful countryside.

To provide an objective review, we would only like to mention that the wet room screen and shower tray is not very long, which means that whenever one has a shower, there will be excess water which ends up on the bathroom floor. But the owners have even thought of a solution, which is to use a special mop provided to ‘guide’ the water to a water waste drain. Which solves the problem rightaway.
