we where welcomed by the host which made it very personal. the property is in walking distance to the Piazza and restaurants

"The accommodation was basic, the owner, Lucia wasn’t much helpful despite knowing that I was on my own without a car"

The location is good as it’s in the centre of Marzamemi a small fishing port

Everything was very basic my room wasn’t the one facing the sea but that was fine No kettle neither a single plastic glass to drink water The owner-Lucia wasn’t very helpful despite the fact I was on my own I needed to go to a pharmacy and she never called a taxi for me . without a car the village doesn’t have a pharmacy and the nearest place is Pachino when I left it was raining and I bought an umbrella from a local shop just opposite of where the apartment is, the person called a taxi when I mentioned I have to call one to take a bus to Syracuse- my next destination Lucia was adamant about it Amongst all the places I’ve been this one wasn’t good The village is pretty but small and the nearest beach isn’t nice either The only thing I enjoyed was the restaurant at the main square everything was delicious and good service

Amazing location. The sun rises right at the front of the room.

Not much to point out, just that we had to leave the room quite early, latest by 10.
