The layout of the apartment is very comfortable, queen beds in each room, clean. Is it pretty

The apartment smelled very bad, like cigarettes, the entire apartment. The toilet was dirty, I had to clean it. The shower curtain is very short, and when you take a shower, the water comes out. We did not find glasses to drink water, nor a coffee maker, nor cups to drink coffee.

Love the location, right in the middle of old town Zagreb, we easily walked everywhere. Loved that this was a real apartment with a full kitchen, comfortable dining area, nice living room, newly remodeled bathroom. Quiet apartment on the garden side of the building. Loved the high ceilings and lots of outlets to plug things in.

I know this is a minor thing but just want to let future guests know -- the flooring makes it so the floor is multiple levels (kitchen to living room and kitchen to bathroom) so it's very easy to stub your toe. We had to set shoes on the thresholds as a visual reminder.
