Teach Greannai Accommodation Pod

Its a very quiet and peaceful place. Stopped to stay here before we get back on the road trip, and this is one of the best decisions on the trip. There was a storm that came late night at the time- nevertheless the room was warm and cozy. I didnt expect much for its price- but it was actually really pleasant. The staff were really approachable and friendly. The food served at the restaurant was also great. I would def consider coming back.

If you stayed in the brown pod.. you get access to a separate toilet, the electric shower's hot water supply was in-and-out (not a constant temperature). Otherwise the toilet was visibly clean and well kept.

Located 20 minutes away from Downpatricks Head and an hour away from Achill, you can go and enjoy the wild unexplored west of ireland.

The staff was very busy and we did not meet anyone. A better reception would be good. Lots and lots of insects, so you can’t stay outside the pod for a second. They bite! No WiFi or cell phone reception.

The pods are spacious, clean and functional with a kettle, fridge ,Microwave ,cups Heater & hairdryer. It had condiments in the fridge. The beds were very cosy & the pod was very clean very relaxing with Beautiful Scenery. They have a Restaurant across from the pods & the food was exceptional & very fresh . Breakfast was amazing too . Staff were helpful in pointing us in the direction of local pubs & which ones was best suited to what we were looking for. There's on site laundry available also ,and shower room & bathroom across from.the pod..

It could do with a TV & WiFi as its very rural & not much to do in the evening.

Very good Irish Breakfast available.

The property was simple, clean and had good basic amenities. The pod was very comfortable - definitely book the one with the bathroom. The only food available in the area was the diner that is part of the property. It has breakfast, lunch and dinner but not every day. We had a nice dinner.
