Silver Shadow Holiday Maisonette

Lovely, homely apartment, thoughtfully furnished and equipped for a family. As mentioned by others, the tea/coffee/bread on arrival is just perfect for weary travellers! Charmaine the host is lovely and reliable, and even came out in the late evening to sort out an unexpected plumbing issue. Great location, on a quiet street but minutes walk away from bus stations to the rest of the island and minutes from the main street and markets. Plenty of on street parking nearby. Can definitely recommend Marsaxlokk as a base to explore the island!

Not a problem for our family, but the entrance to the apartment is up a flight a of stairs with no lift. Wifi was a bit weak in the rooms further from the router, good for promoting sleep though! Finally, one of the bathrooms is in an ensuite, with just a curtain separating it from the bedroom, so clear communication needed when the bathroom is being used. I'm only mentioning here in case it's a make or break situation for someone, it wasn't a problem for us at all!

Salt, pepper, table oil could be in the kitchen, but it was not big problem We didnt find a broom.

It is a great Apartment with all you need to stay. The Owner had pepared a lot of staff, like Toast and Coffee, Soap and Lotion, Towals and so on. We like to stay and we will like to come again.

Clean and spacious. Standard of fittings. Nice quiet location and small but pretty beach within 10mins walk. Free Internet. Complimentary tea, coffee, and snacks. Host was attentive and helpful. Would stay again!

Lack of instructions for tv.

It a is a quite and nice location, very close to bus station.

The second bedroom has bathroom included but separated only by a transparent curtain. I think a more solid separator would be nice to have there.
