The most lovely host family you will ever find. From the point of arrival it was a pleasant atmosphere, friendly communication and the place itself is breathtaking: a building in baroque style, high ceiling, surrounded by a beautiful garden. Highly recommended to stay with Anna and her family.

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Keine unpersönliche Standardwohnung, sondern eine stilvolle Umgebung. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ein guter Bäcker, Supermarkt und Restaurants sind in der Nähe zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Zuerst waren wir etwas überrascht von der Umgebung des Hauses, eine belebte Straße und Einkaufszentrum sind in der Nähe, aber das ist kein Problem und im Haus mit dem großen Balkon und Garten fühlt man sich wohl.

We loved our sejour at the Villa Alchea. This beautiful old and stylish house have been fully renovated and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. It's so quiet that it's hard to believe that you are ideally located in Modica. It was a perfect location to explore other cites like Ragusa, Noto, Sciclic and Syracrusa. Anna, our host made wonderful recommendations for restaurants, local markets and whatever else we needed to know. A very lovely and gracious host! Could not have been nicer.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The home, the garden, the amenities, the peace and quiet while at the same time being close to beaches and all of southern Sicily. Anna and her husband helped us feel right at home. The villa had everything you would need for either a short or a longer stay. Would definitely recommend and will definitely try to come back for another visit. Thank you for having us!

There wasn’t anything not to like.

We spent several days at this unique venue, and every single moment was truly worth it. The property is absolutely fantastic, with the distinctive charm of a spacious old Sicilian mansion, beautifully surrounded by a lush garden. Its location is ideal for exploring the many wonders of southern Sicily, with beaches and historic sites all within a 20–25 minute drive. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and supportive, making our stay exceptionally comfortable and relaxing.

We liked everything in the beautiful villa: the high comfort of the best quality, we loved the aesthetics of all the furniture and wall decorations and the very tasty breakfast products for us in the refrigerator. The villa is sorrounded by a beautiful large garden with trees and flowers and it is so quiet... WONDERFUL ! The owners, Anna and Alberto, are a lovely couple, very friendly and sociable, with whom you can communicate easily in English. They were available for us whenever we needed and made our 4 night stay the highlight of our almost 3 week trip in Italy. From the Villa Alchea you can visit by car, besides the close historic town of Modica, beautiful historic towns like Noto, Scicli and Ragusa, and even Siracusa is not too far away and is worth the ride by car in order to overnight one more night at this "paradise" villa. Anna and Alberto, thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. We hope we can come back again.

This Villa is amazing! It’s very spacious (could easily accommodate six), comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, separate dining room, terrace and access to a lovely garden with olive, orange and lemon trees and herbs. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The location is excellent if you have a car — 10 minutes to the old citY of Modica and 20 minutes to Ragusa and Scikli. There are supermarkets nearby. We would love to stay there again.

Beautifully furnished, huge, spotless apartment. Anna and her husband were extremely friendly and helpful. Great location for driving to local sites and beaches with supermarket in walking distance. The apartment has 2 separate reception rooms and a dining area so plenty of space for the adult family to spread out. Anna lives downstairs so very easy to contact if needed.

The beds were not that comfortable for some of us but I appreciate that is a personal choice.

Superb location, stunning house, close to the supermarkets, just amazing... ❤️ and the hosts, what a lovely people!!!!

The only thing is that it is on the 1st floor. We did not have any issues with that, but older people might struggle with this.
