Boutique Apartment with ParkView

This beautifully presented apartment is located in the historic centre of Heraklion and you can easily walk to all places of tourist interest. Spacious bedrooms and living room. The bathroom is small, yet fully functional. Straightforward communication with the landlord and easy check in /check out. We arrived around midnight and the landlord had been thoughtful and left some breakfast snacks for us. Good quality WiFi.

There is no lift ( this is quite common in Greece for 2-3 storey buildings, especially the older ones). You need to go up several stairs. Luckily this was not an issue for us, but it would be a problem for a someone with significant mobility issues or if you have heavy luggage.

Location was great.

We had a lot of difficulty trying to unlock the door and spent a lot of time in the hot stairwell trying to unlock the door. We didn’t go out at night because we were worried we would not be able to get back in. Staff kept telling us there was not a problem with the lock. This impacted our stay.

Super location with everything within walking distance.

No air conditioning in one bedroom.

Loved the location. What was provided. Plenty of water and other supplies.

I didn’t like the fact that no one cleaned it for 3 days we were there. You couldn’t put toilet paper in the toilet and not good to not have someone come in and clean and empty the bin.

Location was excellent. Owner was accommodating to our needs. It was comfortable. 2 couches!! 2 beds, 2 AC units (living room and one bedroom). Well supplied, quite spacious. Hint….the hair dryer is under the TV in the living room.

47 stairs and no lift to get to the apartment. Needs more counter space in both the bathroom and kitchen.

The apartment is in a great location. It's within a short walk from restaurants, the museum, the bus station, and a range of stores. For the price, the apartment offers excellent value for money. The place is clean, and there is plenty of space to make the stay comfortable. There was also a range of snacks and drinks provided in the apartment which was a great gesture from the hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but no place is perfect. There is no elevator to the apartment, so you'll need to prepare to carry your luggage up the stairs. Also, the nearby bars and restaurants got a bit noisy in the evenings, but it quietened down at a reasonable hour.
