DEAn enchanting place in the hills above Castelbuono. Ideal starting point for exploring the wonderful nature of the Madonie and the surrounding villages! The view from the balcony and the terrace across the hills to the sea are unbelievably beautiful. The apartment is spacious and nicely furnished and has tasteful crockery and everything one needs to feel at home away from home! The host was lovely and very welcoming with good information on where to go and what to visit. We were met at the entrance to Castelbuono which was great since the apartment is located a little outside and not so easy to find the first time. All comunication was easy and very friendly. In short: we love it and hope to come again!!!
In the neighbourhood there are quite a few barking dogs and a noisy rooster that wakes up early but we got used to it quickly. The 2 plate induction cooker is great but also noisy while at work.
