The only thing I can say that a liked about the property was the price

Firstly the communication on the day was very poor. Having been told the room would be ready by 3pm and messaged to say I had arrived early and had it confirmed it would be. I received a call at approx 14:30 to say it would be 40 mins. I then spent the next 2 hours constantly contacting the host who failed to contact me first, and they kept giving later times at which the room would be ready. Therefore I ended up waiting 2 hours in the sun with no food as I couldn’t leave the bags. A poor start. When I mentioned this to them they seem to be adamant at explaining how this wasn’t their fault about the delay but also seemed to knot take responsibility for lack of communication instead informing me of how this is not normally their process. They said the internet wasn’t working but should come on the next day - it did not come on throughout the whole stay! They then said that they would do something nice and see about a late check out. However, nothing came to fruition and they also texted me at 23:30 the night before check out stating the original check out time. They had not cleaned the place properly as there was dust on lots of surfaces and clearly what was weeks or months worth of build up of dirt under the beds. The shower in the en-suite has no shower curtain and when I pushed this matter they stated that this was always the case and the photos online showed this. We decided not use this but instead used the bath/shower. However, the railing above the bath was not actually secured so had to keep adjusting it several times. The table in the living room top was not secure and nearly injured some so did not use it after that. There were only 3 chairs for a 4 person place around the dining table. It was lacking in utensils. One of the towels provided had a rip in it. The blinds would not work properly has they had been maintained.

After reading previous reviews I was a little concerned about what we'd be arriving too, however I was pleasantly surprised. Yes the apartment is slightly tired, but it was perfect for resting our weary heads. Location was amazing and the issue we had first gaining access was sorted immediately.

Signs saying lift maximum of 4 was worrying when people would get in when you were travelling 🤣🤣 we survived 4 people and a dog and suitcase so all good.

Central location in Manchester with easy access and parking nearby (albeit rather expensive parking). Spacious apartment

Arriving on an autumn evening the apartment was very cold and we scambled to turn on the heat, but one of the main radiators didn't work which meant that a large part of the apartment incl. one of the bedrooms didn't have any heating. Rest of apartment was tough to heat up and never really got to a comfotable temperature. Also on arrival there wasn't layed out enough towels and we had to search cupboards to find more - a bit annoying when you book the apartment for a certain quantity of people. Cleanliness also left something to be desired as the kitchen area wasn't cleaned properly. Pointed all of the above out to the host day after arrival, but only received a text saying 'thank you for letting us know, we'll look into this' but no action was taken - especially the heating situation feels like quite a miss on their part and poor service. Overall impression of the apartment is that it's spacious, but quite run down. TV is avilable, but no channels or streaming services avialable, so effectively redundant. Don't expect much in terms of kitchen utilities - is at a bare bare minimum. Luckily Manchester is abundant with great places to eat in close proximity
