"If you're seeking a true Ryokan experience, Jozankei Daiichi is a great choice."

I had the opportunity to experience the Japanese way of life, and the service was excellent. We encountered a loud Chinese tourist, and the staff thoughtfully offered us a quieter area to enjoy. The Ryokan experience was superb, especially the room with a private onsen, providing a perfect opportunity for intimacy with my spouse.

I wish the receptionist could speak better English, as it was disappointing that they struggled to understand our requests. The free-flow bar was decent, but it would have been better if there were more variety in the bar food, as the selection was quite limited.

I really appreciate the staff knowing fish names in English. There were so many things to look forward to like snacks and refreshments. The free open bar at night had many options. There were many onsen options, and the hotel was located at great place to walk and explore the town. Strongly recommend!

"Relaxing."

The lounge was roomy and the tea served was great. The best were the massage chairs although they were occupied most of the time by other guests. We only got to use them once in our 3-days' stay. Would be great if there's such a chair in our room. Food was also great.

The private onsen could be more roomy.

Great services

It will be great if the Shuttle bus timetable provides more time options because the location is pretty far and the public transportation is so limited.
