Sibayak Multinational Rest House

The hotel staff were very helpful and arranged our airport transfer and excursions prior to our visit. Our excursion involved climbing the volcano for sunrise, swim in the hot springs, visit to a waterfall, Buddhist temple and replica Karo house. The excursion took about 8 hours. Our guide was excellent. Winnie was very helpful with all our questions during the stay. It's about 20 minutes walk to the main town/ fruit market, we caught the local bus in and out of town which only took a few minutes.

Room was bright, take an eyemask!

The staff are so helpful they helped us organise everything and the room was clean and we enjoyed the hot shower. The food was good and inexpensive. Walk to the local market it is wonderful

You might get woken for morning prayers at 4.50 but I respect their culture and it didn’t wake my teenage daughters.

Rustige ligging aan de rand van de stad, ruime kamer, mooie tuin en uitzicht, warme douche. De maaltijden worden vers klaargemaakt. Prijs-kwaliteit is prima!

Het restaurant en de kamer zijn niet echt gezellig ingericht.

wunderbare Lage, tolles Frühstück, nettes Personal

Ausstattung: alles war eher speckig und abgenutzt, Bad kein westlicher Standard, die ganze Anlage versprüht noch den Charme vergangener Zeiten, ist aber inzwischen recht heruntergekommen . schade, könnte eine Renovierung gebrauchen!

No free wifi, no tv but the calmness of the location made up for the lack of these two

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, alles da was man braucht, Wäscheservice, Frühstück, kalte Getränke und auch Abendessen (haben wir allerdings nicht in Anspruch genommen). Mit dem lokalen Bus ist es nur ein Katzensprung ins Zentrum und die Busfahrt ist wirklich ein positives Erlebnis für sich (3.000 IDR p.Person/Strecke). Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber, wenn auch die Ausstattung schon älter ist. Alles in allem eine Empfehlung!
