Location was excellent right in the middle of town. Stanley’s restaurant next door serving great food and coffee.

Spring mattress would have preferred memory foam. No elevator and would have liked a choice of floor. We were on top floor and my husband has a bad hip. Not ideal for seniors carrying luggage up 3 floors.

I loved it, the decor was to my taste, everything was there that we needed. The location was perfect.

There was nothing I didn’t like, only one thing I can think of that would have been useful is a little dustpan and brush. We had a Chinese meal and dropped the prawn crackers on the floor and accidentally treaded on one which left crumbs. I like to keep it clean and I could only use my hands to clean it up. Which meant there were still pieces I couldn’t get to, where a little brush would have been handy. Other than that everything was perfect. I shall be booking regular stays!

Beautiful apartment with dual aspect, castle one way and sea the other. Lovely shared terrace for breakfast overlooking the water, wasn’t ever busy. Everything you could want or need for a stay - long or short. Easy walk to the middle of town. Just really, really nicely done.

This is nitpicking but the walk-in shower must have been designed by someone smaller than 6ft as the support rail from glass pane to the wall is low and right where you need to stand to get under the fixed shower head. I’m 6ft 3 and kept on knocking my head on it. There was plenty of space to extend the glass pane further away from the shower head or to put in a taller one, no idea why this wasn’t done.
