Halvard Apartments at Castletown

Wonderful location. Clean and modern.

Bedroom very small. No bedside table, no drawers for clothes. TV didn’t work, too hot 🥵. It was a bit like Faulty Towers. Had to call for assistance too many times and this spoiled our holiday a bit.

Exceptionally clean, comfortable and well maintained

The apartment had great facilities, very clean, spacious, felt like being home from home. Nice gentleman met us with the key and showed us around. Apartment was cleaned every and fresh towels.

The bed was a little uncomfortable but did not spoil our stay one bit.

Pete checked us in, he was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful apartment with great views of Castletown!

Although the view was great, the bedroom was quite small.

Very, very clean except under the bed where items had been left by someone else and alot of dust. Views spectacular! Peter was so friendly and helpful and patio deck was a bonus!

Bed needs replacing, , don’t leave enough dishwasher , laundry detergent and toilet paper. Wifi was a bit in consistent. We did not need the room cleaned everyday but had to put makeup room sign as we were running out of supplies. Also you need to tell guests it is a five flight walkup. Views are great but climb with luggage for seniors is crazy.

Location between Castle, Market square and Harbour in Castletown was excellent. Although at south end of island this was still an excellent base for anyone with a car

Window latch in bedroom needs attention. TV’s both a little temperamental.

Manager was lovely. Very nice rooms. And lovely views

Location, staff, apartment quality, all excellent.

We were expecting 2 separate bedrooms but it only has one and the sofa in the lounge isn't a sofa bed. But - when we let the property manager know he quickly arranged a camp bed to go in the lounge, so no complaints overall.

I’d booked a ground floor apartment due to my arthritis making it difficult for me to climb stairs. On arrival I found I’d been moved upstairs due to a problem with the apartment I’d booked. Not happy that I wasn’t informed. No hand hold in the shower. Television in the living room would cut out intermittently as if there was a poor connection. Good television in the bedroom if you have Netflix but with the headboard attached to the wall if you try to sit-up in bed to watch it, the bed rolls away. Smart lighting in the bathroom but not for shaving. No frosted glass in the bathroom and difficult blinds to open/close there and the bedroom.
