Retreat Villa Toraja Baturinggit

The staff were amazing, the staff and the owner did everything to make our experience memorable. They were flexible and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and the owner prepared food off the menu on request. Even went especially to source ingredients from the market to prepare us something special We would highly recommend Retreat Villa Toraja to anyone who wants to relax

The only down side is the beach is not accessible for bathing as it is rocky, however the staff are willing to arrange transport to a suitable spot if you do not have any transport

Great place to unwind and relax. We enjoyed watching the sun rise and seeing boats returning home from the evening fishing.

Cherry and her team work hard to provide great service, however, there are no other walkable restaurants from the retreat. Food onsite was great. Cherry was very helpful and drove us to a stunning restaurant for dinner one night, small fee was reasonable as it was roughly an hours drive. If you need screen time bring your own devices.

I can highly recommend this owner-run hotel. It was the perfect accommodation, especially for me as a woman traveling alone. Everything here is also super clean, quiet and relaxed. The breakfast (included in the room rate although it is offered without on Booking com) is very good, some of the fruit comes from their own garden, and dinner is a delight. Be sure to ask for dishes that are not on the menu - Chery, the owner, is a fantastic chef and performs true culinary wonders in her kitchen. In general, she is a real treasure and very good host. She has a lot of tips for Bali and can organize individual sightseeing tours (recommended and not overpriced). She has snorkeling equipment and massages can also be booked with her on site at a very good price (also highly recommended!). The rooms are well equipped, the beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels and beach towels. I also thought it was great that you have access to drinking water at all times at no extra charge. There are water dispensers in front of each room. The accommodation is a little out of the way, but ideal for visitors to Bali who want to discover authenticity and some of the unfortunately slowly disappearing original Bali. The food was amazing, made by its owner directly fresh from the oven, not a cold and heated food the view and landscape of this property was really superb don't waste your time by looking somewhere else, just stay and enjoy your time in here, worth for 1000x

This property is just so beautiful and peaceful! The photos really don’t do it justice. It is absolute ocean front and set in gardens with a lush green lawn that sweeps down to the water. The rooms are separate and self-contained with Mt Agung watching over in the background, there is a restaurant on site and the staff are so lovely.
