Stunning New Penthouse Apartment

The proximity to all local attractions. It was clean.

Although proximity is good, it’s a shame that outside, the public were shouting and music loud until 4/5am. No fault of the property but due to the weather, the property was like a sauna. The windows wouldn’t open more than 5inches and a fan or something would have been nice. We struggled to get the tv to work and then realised we needed the plug from the coffee machine and the description said WiFi but there were no details. There were no instructions for the appliances either.

The apartment was beautiful, fully equipped, in an amazing location. Absolutely recommended!

The apartment was lovely, clean and homely. The instructions for arrival and codes and alarms were very thorough and easy to follow. We did have an issue during our stay with the smoke alarm going off in the night due to the back up battery. The owner was very good at communicating and sorting this out, with times they would come in etc. and then checking that it had been done correctly. The parking that was on the instructions was easily to find and alot cheaper than the seafront parking. The apartment itself was very central and close to both the beaches and adventure island and is a perfect location for families if visiting for these reasons like us.

Two small points that the owners cant do much about but maybe should be more in the booking information. 1. As the flat itself is in the high street there were times during the night and early morning that it was noisy but this is to be expected with the location and we didn't mind but if you are looking for a quiet getaway probably not the ideal location for that. 2. The number of stairs to the apartment, and the fact there was no lift. We didn't see any reference to this on the booking and we knew it was not on the ground floor but to have so many stairs without warning could be an issue to some as we did struggle with them.

The appartment was immaculate, in an excellent location for visiting Southend on Sea. Walking distance via pier lifts to sea front and great for shopping.

Please add into your instructions that the front street entrance, door, is opposite the Royal Fish and Chip shop. Saying opp Primark gave wrong impression so it took a long time to find very late at night. Maybe put a small label or number over keypad at front street access. Otherwise all excellent with instructions. We had an issue with the sofa bed not viable but we were offered help immediately and the owner did answer straight away. We managed without. No complaints just FYI for future guests check it's ok.

Location was perfect, shops and seaside close by. Place was Morden and clean and was a lovely stay. Definitely would stay again despite issues with sofa bed

Replace sofa bed please as was damaged and had stains, other then that the place was wonderful and i would go back for sure.
