GBAbsolutely everything. Beautiful stunning house, decorated in an exceptional modern chic style. Everything spotlessly clean, freshly laundered, with extras like a washing machine and dishwasher. An amazing location, next door to a fantastic pub with great food and great hospitality. The accommodation and the pub is dog friendly. The garden is totally safe and secure, lot's of walks and a beautiful park and field nearby. Thoroughly recommend 5* and Carolyn is an exceptional informative host.
Absolutely nothing
GBGBOur host was so kind and thoughtful, we have warm pastries sent to us in the morning, nice wine in the fridge and proper coffee too!
The flat is attached to another house and there are connecting doors to said house which means through those doors there is very little sound proofing. It was totally fine for us but I can see that this would not be idea for a booking who wants total silence, but equally isn't a place for any rowdiness.
GBNice place next to a lovely pub. Fenced safe back yard for the dog. Nice area for walks.
The toilet was through the main bedroom which we hadn’t realised as we booked for 3 adults. The kitchen was very compact and one tea towel. . Dust under sofa and under bed in the second bedroom. Towels were provided but no bath sheets. A few basic items would have been good for a drink/ breakfast like milk would have helped after travelling so far and no shop locally.

GBWhat a delightful place in a wonderful location. Great for my doggie as well with a pretty little village park nearby and walks from the door. The apartment is so beautiful with lovely art prints on the walls, a peaceful spacious bedroom and the bathroom is stunning I had a wonderful soak in the amazing tub. The host is nearby but you still have privacy and provided the most huge and delicious croisssants I have ever had! Thank you so much. Utterly delightful and a much recommended sanctuary.
CRGBComfortable and stylish annexe which was it was close to where we wanted to be. We’d forgotten to buy some milk, however the host’s father dropped off some a litre off and also sorted out the TV . There are no shops in Wendens Ambo so this saved us a trip into Saffron Walden .
The kitchen didn’t have some basics, ie kitchen towel, cling film, foil and bin liners. There were some light bulbs missing or lights not working in the bathroom and there was limescale build up on the shower fittings. Some of the information in welcome brochure / listing was outdated ie. the bakery had moved out of the village and the pub next door no longer does food! There is some road noise from the M11 if you were outside.
