Fortino Catania Center Apartment

Good central location, easy to find at night. Good for our one night after flying in late, but before driving to our final destination.

Parking was a little difficult at night to find.

It is not at all as presented on the photos. It was extremely noisy during while night due to some water tanks that work whole night.

The host was very responsive!!! I had a concern that my car had gotten parked in and she assured me and answered multiple texts from me immediately. The lodgings were very spacious!! lots of room to eat, and to spread out and repack suitcases for 5. Very, very clean!! AC worked well.

The neighborhood was a little rough but we still felt safe walking at night to get food. Unfortunately 5 of us needed to shower that night and the hot water was gone for #5. But shower pressure was great, and bathroom was very nice!

It is not in the middle of Taormina, in the middle of the madness. It is in a very beautiful, quite area, you can see Etna from the balcony. It is a big apartment, very clean and also extremely cozy. I loved even the quality of the air here.

If you don't own a car it is a bit far from Taormina (10 minutes by car is nothing, but I don't know how much time would take by bus or anything else), but you should not come to Sicily without renting a car that give you the possibility to see everything you can. I do not recommend to depend on any other public transportation method. Just rent a car and enjoy Sicily!

The accommodation was fine, we just didn't expect a ground floor room without windows leading directly to the street from the photos. In the end it didn't matter, but it was unexpected. The accommodation was very clean though. On departure we arranged through the owner for a paid shuttle to the airport, which was more cost effective than storing our luggage all day downtown and then taking the bus.

There is a very noisy water pump in the room that starts when the water is turned on - and as the whole accommodation is one room it is very disturbing. The accommodation is only a few hundred metres from the centre itself, but we were very surprised at how dirty and littered the area was (but this is not the owner's fault, but our overall impression of Catania).

The place was amazing, super clean and it really surprised us how spacious it was. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The host is very lovely and professional. If you're coming with a car you can get lucky with free parking right in front, but there's paid (cheap) parking nearby anyways. Would recommend to anyone.

Very convenient location of the apartments. Spacious, with a good kitchen and kitchen utensils. Coffee maker, microwave and oven. Some food and refreshments from the hostess. Large washroom with 2 washbasins and shower. Lots of towels. Clean white linens. online checkin and checkout. Pros more than cons

The apartments have pumps that make noise when someone takes a shower or goes to the washroom. And also there is a sewer pipe through which water flows from above the living neighbors. Hard beds. There is a slight damp smell.

Beautiful, big and clean apartment with interesting details. Very good location. Host was very friendly and helpful, she helped us with everything, even brought our luggage to the train station. I would recommend this apartment to everyone!
