Blue Splendor Sorrento Apartment

Graziano met us personally to hand over the keys and show us the apartment. Part of his greeting was a bottle of wine, and maps of the area. This apartment is fabulous. It's gorgeous, spacious, and don't be put off by the bathtub being in one of the bedrooms, not a problem. One of the other beds is in the dining area, and that is not off putting at all, either. The apartment was immaculate, on the first floor, with electronic shutters for privacy if wished for. There is a TINY elevator for 2 people max, so we just used the stairs. Beds are very comfortable, washing machine was perfect, heated radiators and towel racks turn on automatically late afternoon for drying clothes. The apartment was very quiet. Everything about Blue Splendor screamed "relax," and so we did. Graziano was available for questions instantly, excellent host. If coming by train, just go down the stairs out front, to the main street and turn right several blocks, then turn left at the "carbineri" sign and the apartment is on the right. If coming from the harbor (we didn't) there is apparently a lift up to the main town square for 1 Euro and then it's still an easy walk from there. Or you can take a taxi from the harbor for about 20 Euros. We caught the bus in front of the train station for a day trip to Positano. The same bus goes all the way to Amalfi too. We loved Sorrento and it was in no small part to Graziano and Blue Splendor.

One tiny quibble -- the kettle might be on its last legs. It emitted a funny smell while cooking and hot water leaked out of the handle, so be careful.

Excellent location, close walk to train station and restaurants etc. Clean and spacious for a family holiday.

It is very clean and spacious. The location is right outside of busy street. We had 3 beds set up and they are all very comfy.

The property was a amazing and the host met us to provide us the keys. There are 2 formal bedrooms, but there is a bed in the kitchen/common area where another person was able to sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this place. It was super comfy and central to EVERYTHING. Just a bit of advice.. Getting to the location from the pier is a TREK.. For any GOT fans, my friends and I referred to the steps needed to get to the main portion of the city as The Wall. Doing this with luggage can be done, but it's definitely going to give you a workout. There were taxis available as well.

No issues with the place. The issue we had was with the walk up there steps from the pier. But this location, I have no complaints and neither did my friends.

Excellent unit in very central location, close to plenty of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Comfortable beds and lovely host who was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Everything about this apartment was perfect. Location, facilities, cleanliness and Graziano was very easy to deal with. Just a short walk out of the main square, close to supermarkets, train station, restaurants, but still in quiet side street. Beautiful apartment - no complaints about this at all. I would recommend to any of my family and friends in a heartbeat.
