"Horrible, creepy, frightening experience!!"

The Venetian complex has a nice set of pools, lots of places to sit by the pool, and has plenty of beach access.

We were terrorized by the property managers after they refused to refund us for days we missed right after the cartel attacks, because our plane was rescheduled. We asked Booking.com for help, they initiated a refund, and then the managers locked us out of our unit with zero notice, not once, but twice. The first time we were able to get back in easily, but the second time we had to jimmy the door. They sent a guy to our unit to harass us, and then he came back with the police. We had to explain the situation to the police in the hallway. They had also shut off our electricity, and claimed that Booking had not paid them and wanted a direct payment from us, which we refused. That night, I laid awake the whole night with a knife next to me, I was so freaked out by the situation. Since we didn’t have a code to get in or out, and fearing they might lock us out again, we had to stay in the unit the whole next day. Booking reviewed the situation, including reviewing our texts with the management, and concluded they were egregiously in the wrong, and are issuing us a full refund. We moved out a day early, still frightened of what the management might do to us. Booking kept calling them to rectify the situation, but they never answered the calls or Booking’s emails. Very creepy!!!

"WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CONDO TO ANYONE!"

The best thing about this apartment was the view and the supporting staff were great.

To start with when we arrived there was no water until the next evening. The apartment itself needs some decorations and much needed repairs to the condo itself. Having a little double bed for two adults to sleep in was very uncomfortable my husband and I took turns sleeping on the couch and one in the bed and we are not large people. The bedroom itself would definitely hold a queen if not a king size bed with no problem. Having no amenities at all to offer and one and a half rolls of toilet paper for a weeks stay is unacceptable. The laundry detergent that was offered is also used to clean the bathroom and wash floors according to the instructions on the bottle.. The lock to get in and out of the apartment is in dire need of an upgrade, there were times when we couldn't get it to lock so we had to leave the condo unlocked. The lighting in the condo is very very poor in every room. Having previously stayed at the Grand Venetian many many times this is by far the worst condo we've ever stayed in and will not return, even if the absorbitant price went down.

Great location, very nice apartment, clean, Ramsy was very fast to find solutions ti little details that came up. I would definetly go back and tell friends and family.

My children did not like the pillows

"It's fine, but not for us"

The common areas in the condo towers were lovely. The pools were wonderful and it was nice that we could use beach palapas were free. We were there during low season so we didn't have an issue finding chairs. The security is very strict and it was easy to find help if we had a question. There was ample communication with our property managers beforehand and during our stay. It was very nice to have a washing machine.

The pictures were a bit misleading. The listing has some images of our unit, and some images of other units. For example, our bedroom was next to a hallway, NOT a balcony. There was only one couch, NOT two as pictured. This unit was very scant on decoration and amenities. There were no instructions on use of the TV. We only figured out how to access Netflix on the second day. This place is fine if you're looking for a basic unit with nice pools. The beach is very muddy because it's right next to the river, and the shore is far from the unit. We learned that we prefer the romantic zone over the hotel zone. This area is not walkable at all, but it depends on how you prefer to vacation.

NO HOT WATER/ NO AC HAD TO CALL OWNER SEVERAL TIMES TO FIX PROBLEM. maintenance of the building was very poor it took a while before maintenance came to adjust the problem suck suck

"Disappointing"

Beautiful complex, lots of pools and always pool chairs available. View from unit was really pretty, and liked the furniture on the balcony. Nice to have a restaurant on site. WiFi and TV worked very well. Close to La Isla mall.

Unit poorly equipped, kitchen had mismatched glasses, only one wine glass, terrible pots/pans (burned and scarred). Only two (not great quality) pillows on bed, towels and sheets poor quality. Worst part was the lighting, It was non-existent in dining area, and when working I had NO light. Kitchen had one dim light that did nothing to light dining area. Rest of unit also had terrible lighting. When the beach club downstairs was raging, we had to keep the doors closed which meant the film on the doors made it dark in the unit. Almost impossible to work in that environment. Beach club was unbelievably loud. Owner's rep acted surprised that there was LOUD music from this club. It could not be a surprise and would have appreciated honesty instead of someone pretending this is not a regular occurrence. Uncomfortable bed. Bathroom tiles and baseboards looked worn and dirty, only one small towel hook and it was extremely loose. Kitchen cabinets had pieces missing. Everything in the unit felt cheap and like it was only an investment property. Only 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for one week, no paper towels or face tissues. Not even a bar of soap was provided. Rented from Booking.com which mentioned no requirements on electric usage. Received messages from owner about not using too much electricity. We are conservative anyway but this should be mentioned up front BEFORE booking.

"Beautiful grounds, beach and city negatively impacted by a neglected & unmaintained apartment."

The view, pool/restaurant facilities and the property management team. The self check-in process was well defined and went smoothly. Veronica and Ramzy were fantastic! We did have very positive experiences communicating with them! Both were very kind and helpful! We would like their employers to know that they both excel in customer service!

The pictures do not represent the condition of apartment 1605 in tower 3000 at the Grand Venetian, except the view from the balcony. We have rented many apartments in the US, Mexico and Europe. This apartment negatively impacted our vacation far more than any other apartment we have rented. We dealt with issues that should have been fixed before any guests arrived. 1. There was no hot water when we arrived. It came on the next day. However I had a cold shower one afternoon. 2. The hot water was shut off in the bathroom. The maintenance person turned it on. The next day the vanity and floor was flooded including my toiletries stored under the sink. The back wall of the vanity was stained and the particle board was cracked and warped. It had leaked before. The faucet and the pipe for the hot water was replaced for us. There were no more leaks and we had hot water. 3. The bathroom sink drained slowly. 4. The apartment was surface clean, air conditioning vents were clogged with dust and the bathroom walls were dirty. 5. No towel racks in the bathroom. We hung our towels on hangers in the doorways. 6. The lighting in the entire apartment is very poor. The oven hood light was out and asked to have it replaced; it wasn’t. 7. The veneer in the corner of the kitchen cabinets is laying on top of the cabinets. Trim around the bathroom doors is warped and peeling away from the walls. To the owner; it is wrong to have paying guests manage your property for you. We spent precious vacation time dealing with the neglected and unmaintained issues in your apartment that needed to be addressed prior to having any guests. We spoke with other renters in tower 3000. They had hot water, towel racks in the bathroom, clean air vents, no cosmetic problems and purified water dispensers. We asked the property management and Booking.com to make a good faith gesture for our lost vacation time. Neither offered anything except Booking encouraged us to write a review.
