The Honeysuckle Homestead Georgetown Living

There was sand on the floor, the carpets were very dirty. The towels were stained. There was foul smell in the sink. I don’t think the place was cleaned before our stay. We were very disappointed. It was not worth the money. Sadly, I won’t be visiting this place again.

Attached garage and use of micro tel was awesome. High land management or whatever it was called was easy to work with. Awesome.

Dishwasher did not work, still wasn’t screwed in place and only had 3 spoons in condo but not a big deal.

Georgetown is the closest place if you want to ski in Loveland. It's a whole house (2BR) with a garage. You can use the hotel pool /hot tub a few 100 feet away. Extra towels, warm blankets, all was provided.

Layout of house is awkward - if you want a view, the house should have been flipped. Bedrooms face I70 rather than the lake which you can see from the closet and the kitchen..but we didn't care as we came for skiing.

Facilities and layout. Georgetown and the back door on to the lake was fantastic.

Workmen outside property starting at 07:00 hrs. Found dirty towel left on floor behind second bedroom door showing the house hadn't been cleaned properly.

The location was close to the area we were hiking.

Do not recommend. The pictures look great on line though you do not see the construction directly in front of the condos and no real pool around the area. When we arrived, we noticed the kitchen had not been cleaned thoroughly, there was sticky stuff on the counter. Then the basement toilet did not flush. Also, the towels in the upstairs were damp. The carpet was dirty and crunchy. (It needs to be replaced.) I would not walk on the carpet unless I was wearing shoes it was so worn and gross. Also, the couch had stains on it. It was hard to sleep since It was hot in the rooms. The thermostat would allow you to place it at 69 though the air conditioner would not turn on when the thermostat read 71-73. It was very hot in all the upstairs rooms without a working air conditioner. I do not recommend this hotel unless they get the above things corrected.

Comfortable and spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen. Conveniently located to many great hikes and just a short drive from the charming part of historic Georgetown. Property management was responsive to several questions we had upon our arrival.

It should be noted that there is a lot of construction across the street from the unit, as well as a lot of (mostly white) noise from Highway 70. The living room and bedrooms are oriented toward the construction and highway instead of to the lake on the other side. There is a patio just off the kitchen looking out on the lake, but with zero furniture--not even some beach chairs in the closets--so we could not really avail ourselves of this asset. Also, oddly, there is only counter seating for 3 people max for meals.
