Very good location close to all amenities. House was huge and spotless clean.

Elektrische Küchengeräte sind nicht mehr voll funktionsfähig: die E-Herd Platten funktionieren nicht (nur 2 Gasflammen) den Geschirrspüler kann man erst nach vielfachen Drückens zum Start bewegen.

Big house, probably ok during the adequate season.

I very rarely leave reviews, but i think the accommodation really deserves a tourist warning. Supposed to spend one week at this accommodation at the end of March. Arrived late, 19 pm, the host was there with the keys. The house is big, more than 100 sqm, probably 150 sqm basement included, but it was freezing cold. No source of heating(no AC either), only 2 very small heater fans in the bedrooms. Cold bathrooms, kitchen and the huge living room. Due to very big spaces, it was absolutely out of the question that the heater would be of any use. Two thin blankets were "kindly" provided on the sofa in the living room, with the reassurance that we/the tourists, would not normally spend too much time indoors in Madeira, anyway. There were 13C outdoors and likely 16-17C indoors. Hosts were very impolite during the entire conversation(and this was probably one of the most striking thing) and totally refused to reimburse the price, despite the obvious fact that this house should clearly NOT HAVE BEEN ADVERTISED AS AVAILABLE DURING COLD WINTER MONTHS. They said the advert did not mention any AC/heating. (Interestingly, a few days later, when we told the story to some acquaintances who own a cottage in a rural area in France, they said this is a particular reason-lack of heating- why they don't advertise it as available on booking during cold months...so not everybody is so dishonest). We ended up searching ad hoc for another hotel, where we spent the rest of our holiday for another considerable amount of money, due to on the day decision, as expected. They never agreed to a refund, so after contacting Booking, we were only given 136£ back (and this was from Booking, to settle the dispute, not from them). The entire initial holiday price was 700 £.

Es handelt sich um ein großes modern ausgestattetes Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern, 2 Toiletten/Duschen, einer vollausgestatteten Essküche, einem großen Wohnbereich, einer Terasse und mehreren Balkonen. Das Stadtzentrum liegt nur 10 bis 15 Gehminuten entfernt. Das Haus liegt ruhig in einem Wohngebiet. Man kann problemlos vor dem Haus parken.

Fijn en groot huis, fijne bedden. Het huis is in een woonwijk waardoor het erg rustig is. Maar op zich ook nog op loopafstand van het centrum.

In principe niks, maar 2 kleine dingen: We misten handdoeken voor de vaat en de messen in de keuken waren bot.

It's a beautiful house with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is really quiet, so we slept like babies - yet it's just a few minutes walk from the city centre and shops, restaurants etc. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.
