Geodesic Dome Glamping

The geodesic domes at Belan Bluebell Woods are absolutely lovely. Suzi and Joe are brilliant hosts and have thought of so many little details, from the beds, chairs and heaters in the domes to the well-equipped camp kitchens and individual toilets. We went as a group of friends, including a 6 year old and a dog, and it was an ideal place to stay. We loved the location at the top of a hill with brilliant views, the relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the homemade pizzas on Friday night. We used this as base for walking the Severn Way and it was a really easy drive to the Hafren Forest car park to walk up to the source. The weather was wet and stormy and far from ideal for walking when we stayed. But despite this the domes were cosy and the camp kitchens and barn are perfectly designed to be dry and sheltered whatever the weather. It's a great location to come back to after a hike.

Domes were great, location is great and peaceful. Host was lovely. The campsite is spacious and has great views.

I think the toilet blocks would be better separated. Glamping and camping.

Everything was just perfect

The site is gorgeous and peaceful. The domes are incredible, spacious and cozy, with everything we needed for a fun and relaxing family getaway. Suzi is a fantastic host who made us feel welcome and comfortable. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to come back!

We loved the spacious tent, but the weather didn’t quite allow us to enjoy all of the possibilities. There are a ton of blankets to make sure you’re nice and warm. You get fairy lights in the tent and at the dinner spot. It’s quite romantic.

The shower isn’t quite comfy to get dressed afterwards, the water was enjoyable though. The toilets are dry toilets. Men are obliged to sit down. There is no electricity at your camping place and we didn’t foresee that. Due to the weather we were forced to sit inside.

The warmest hosts, most picturesque setting and beautiful geodesic dome. Both the adults and children in our party enjoyed every minute, especially pizza night!

Geodesic dome got a bit warm during the day, which is to be expected. Maybe just bear this in mind when booking during the hot summer months. Absolutely perfect otherwise.
