Our stay in this house was by far the best accommodation of our three-week trip to India. The place was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The family was incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable tips and assisting us with practical things. They were also very communicative. The location was on the edge of the city, so while there weren’t any major attractions nearby, they were easily reachable with a short rickshaw ride. The trade-off was the peacefulness of the area, with the soothing sounds of chirping crickets, tiny frogs in the garden, geckos, and a variety of tropical bird calls. It was the perfect spot to chill and relax. A highlight was definitely the mother’s cooking. We got to try some amazing dishes that we would never have encountered as regular tourists. Prayag, the family’s son, was incredibly helpful too, always quick to respond and even following up on things proactively. The house itself was cozy, tastefully decorated, and comfortably furnished. It was secure and felt like a real home. If we ever find ourselves in Jodhpur again, we’ll definitely stay here - highly recommended!

There was no air conditioning, but this was more than offset by the ceiling fans available in every room. Additionally, Prayag informed us about this detail well in advance, so we were fully aware of it when we booked the house.

If you plan on visiting this property, you absolutely cannot miss the home cooked meal by the Prayag's(Host's) mom. It is the kind of food you won't find anywhere in any of the hotels or restaurants. Prayag was extremely warm and welcoming, always smiling and ready to go above and beyond to make your stay highly comfortable. Property is very well maintained and was quite clean. Also we were there at the time of monsoon and the terrace had this soothing wind and a mild rainfall which made our day.

There aren't many things to point out, what I can say is if you do feel the need for any improvement just contact the host Prayag and he will try to get it done for you.

The accommodation is first class with every amenity for a comfortable self catering stay. Attention to cleanliness is evident. The interior decor is exceptional rivalling those that one may find in grand houses. The location was ideal for us being away from frenetic city, but it was nevertheless easy to visit the Mandore Gardens, the sites in Mehrangarh complex (Fort, Jaswant Thada and the Rao Jhoda rock park) and the amazing Pannalal cow shelter. Additionally the location was ideal for exploring the north Jodphur countryside including the Surpura Dam, Sumer Talab where migratory birds congregate, and for easy spotting of Nilgai, Peacocks/Peahens, wild Camels, etc. The hosts Ramesh Mehra and son Prayag were exceptionally hospitable and met our every need and more. This is a well equipped and bargain priced accommodation. I would highly recommend this villa. Needless to say I shall definitely stay here again.

As far as I am concerned there was nothing to dislike about the accommodation.
