Yamanouchi sekisan chi

It felt like a cozy home, the host is really sweet and has a little cafeteria where you can order food. The matcha is really good! Excellent walking distance to station, temples and many onsens. We walked back down from the monkey park and it was not too long.

The only thing is maybe it would be good to have a mirror in the bedroom so that you don’t take too much time in the shared washrooms.

Everything was good, the host was very gently and bring to us a free ticket for onsen 🙌🏻

This was definitely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in, rooms were spacious and quite private due to curtains, the hostess was lovely, great amenities as well, good location, reasonable price, very clean... honestly it really ticks all the boxes.

Since the walls are paper thin it gets quite noisy from early mornings since people get up early to leave to the mountains. But it’s ok! Not a problem
